The information revolution

Crestwood is the next village south of me, and has a libertarian streak a mile wide. I wonder if it's more than coincidence that they haven't used computers in their offices until now, and the fact that they refund property taxes every year? (Such a refund is unheard of anywhere else in the area.) I've always been of the opinion that personal computers waste money and time unless the users are well-trained and the tasks at hand are actually suited to being computerized. This stands as coincidental and unverifiable proof of that opinion.
