Hot Doug's - The Sausage Superstore and Encased Meat Emporium

I had the regular hot dog, char grilled version. Delicious! I'm generally partial to my hot dogs in the steamed variety, but this dog (a Vienna Beef product) was done to perfection. The char grilled dog is generally well done, but in this case the grilling was perfect.

I also had the polish sausage (The Elvis). Also grilled, and equally well done.

The finally finale was the fries. Skin on, medium cut fries. Perfectly cooked- in duck fat. Possibly the best fries I've ever had.

Hot Doug himself was running the store and was the order taker. Very nice and professional. Or at least as professional as you want your encased meat vendor to be.

Highly recommended. But remember it's a heavy meal- next time I'm sticking to only one sausage.
