The folks who claim that Star Trek: Deep Space 9 is the best Star Trek (and thus hate Enterprise and Voyager) aren't really fans of Star Trek.

Well, I never watched DS9 and I consider myself a Star Trek fan. So that proves nothing.
I think there's a subset of people who never watched TOS and TNG, and so don't understand what Roddenbury was going for: Gunsmoke in Space.
