Change in America

Congratulations to President-Elect Obama! If he accomplishes nothing but to change the political tone in this country to what was reflected in his acceptance speech, I think the US will be better off.

I'm not too proud to admit that I was moved to tears during that speech.

And hats off to Sen. McCain, who gave a nice concession speech. I was heartened that he said what he did and frowned at the hecklers. I'm still disappointed in him and the campaign he ran, but I think he did some good in telling his supporters to give the new president a chance.
