Person of the Year

The nutjobs are out there already calling Time magazine a bunch of commies for making Putin the person of the year. Do they understand the "subtlety" that the Person of the Year isn't necessarily the best person of the year, just their idea of the most influential?

Worse than vomit

Apparently, "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" is on the USA network now running new episodes. I really liked the show because it was weird and showed some intelligent stories, etc. Well, now it sucks. They replaced one of the characters with Alicia Witt and it appears she is doing an exact impersonation of the blond character on CSI: Miami. You know, from the Shatner school. In fact, the whole show appears to have shifted toward being a CSI:Miami clone. I'm waiting for Jack Lord to appear and blame something on Chow-Fat.

A Christmas miracle!

1) Turner Classic Movies is my favorite tv channel ever. They're playing "Christmas Vacation" right now, uncensored. I'm not sure I've ever seen that before. 2) Turns out I think I despise Jimmy Stewart. Why don't you scream louder into the telephone?
